More exotic and erotic than eerie, Thirst is a Korean language film about a Catholic priest (ably played by Kang-ho Song) grappling with a newfound desire for a) blood and b) his best friend’s wife (the fetching Ok-bin Kim). Since Chan-wook Park (Oldboy, Sympathy for Lady Vengeance) co-wrote and directed this vampire romance there are tons of gore in store for the unwary viewer. Like AB negative, Thirst is a rare bird.  Think of it as the anti-Twilight.
